Angling Report for May 25th 2005
Fishing has really got going everywhere, some great Bream catches coming from all over. Lakes in the Rooskey to Drumsna area have seen catches of quality Roach, Hybrids and Tench, while Longford and Strokestown areas have seen catches over the hundred pound.
Pictured is Kevin Lyons from Melview Guest house with a good Bream catch, in just four and half hours he bagged 104lb-12oz. Kevin said time taken pre-baiting is so important if you want to hold fish in a swim.
Mark Delaney from Merseyside in the UK arrived with six others to stay with Kevin and Jane at Melview Lodge in Longford and had great fishing over four days. Mark and the others commented that it was great we had fish everyday. The last day was the best for fish.
