The guys said the place ended up alive with pike and big trout just feeding at their leisure, but it didn’t stop them from putting together some cracking catches of fish. Kevin said the heavy prebaiting every night certainly worked for them, fishing into thirty foot of water and having something like twenty eight feet of fish in front of you is rare. It’s a shame the pike and large trout moved in because they would have caught a lot more than the estimated 490lb they had, but that’s fishing.
