Tom Lodewijckx, Jef Van de Weyer and Jan Gebruers from Balen and Geel in the Belgium Kempen were here once again in Ireland for a weekends Pike fishing. This is their second time staying at Melview Lodge in Longford and it turned out to be a great weekends sport for them, using mainly lures and jerk baits they managed to catch 76 Pike in three days of fishing and a large number of good Perch.Kevin said the guys are very keen when it comes to fishing, no sooner had they arrived and they were off fishing. I’m sure the lads had a good time and we hope to welcome them back to Ireland again in the future, well done guys. All fish returned back to the water safely to fight another day.
